One... i wanted it dark brown.... so they dyed it BLACK.

my sister cut one off right at the rubber band.

I didn't freak out until the other half of my head was professionally cut short.

The biggest was when I dyed my hair jet black over blond, and it turned green. For 2 weeks my friends called me She-Hulk. After that, whenever it turn out the way I wanted it, I would shave it off, then let if grow back. Right now I'm in the growing out phase of a blond Afro, now I mainly wear it in a ponytail.

I got talked into to being a model for the hairdresser of the year awards when i was 15. on stage they cut my waist length hair into a ridiculous crop spikey style and coloured it carrot orange. You can imagine the stick i got the next day in school !!!!!

i was 15 and i wanted my hair dyed so i used a box dye it was supposed to be blond it turned out canary yellow i wouldnt leave the house until my mam took me to the hair dressers and there was nothing the hair dresser could with it so i had it cut short (i had hair down my back ) it was as dry as sticks for weeks after too i now only ever get my hair coloured at the hairdressers !!

My hair is naturally very very dark, almost black. And one day I had the urge to go to an auburn color. Well, listening to my sister (big mistake), i stripped my hair (bleached it to almost white by using a frosting kit) and tried to color (a few days later while in hiding from the public) over it with the auburn color. DIDN'T work. I ended up DYING my hair JET BLACK and then had to wait for it to grow out. Eventually, I went to a professional and got it done. Ahhhh the young teenaged life I had.

I've had a hair weave sown into my hair over 10 years ago, it looked awful and couldn't be styled as it was synthetic hair and was full of noughts. It got so bad I had to get them out after two weeks.

i was having blonde highlights underneath and instead of using foils,my mums hairdresser used a cap.it wasnt untill the next day that i noticed how un even it all was,i ended up in my cousins salon,she had to put about 5other colours in it to even it out.luckily she only charged me a tenner.

I did streaks at home but managed to get the stripper all over my head instead of just places. It bleached large patches of my hair to the colour of sponge toffee. I ended up at my hair dressers and had him put me back to one colour. He felt he had to harass me for about an hour too as he said that this sort of thing would happen to me one day.

i was cutting my hair (from a really shaggy-think beatles-haircut to a crew cut) with some electric clippers. i dropped them in the middle of cutting it and they broke. i had to go to the store and buy another set of clippers looking like that. even with a baseball cap on you could tell my head was half shaved. i looked like an idiot and people kept staring at me, and a couple people even laughed. in retrospect its really funny, but i was really embarassed at the time.
