hi!! i recently cut my hair (4 mnths ago) and right now its like cheeck lenght...its kinda stopped growing....any tips to make my hair about upper back length so i can do a long bob and fringe hairstyle.

Extensive combing of afro hair makes it fall out quicker. Also, daily manipulation makes it fall out, too. Afro hair is fragile until it gets to a certain length and then it grows very, very quickly. What you will want to do is find a style that you are comfortable with that requires little maintennace. Do this only for a month or two and you will be fine. Personally, I suggest braided extensions. However, if you do not like hair weaves, try twisting your hair, but washing it weekly before it locs. Good luck!

Wear braids alot, deep condition every 2 weeks, and get an olive oil treatment along with washing your hair.

Please do not forget to keep those ends clipped...many of us think it is not necessary but if u want healthy hair keep those ends clipped..make sure your r getting a deep conditioning and make sure u use professional products in your hair so that u no that u have simply the best for your hair.

ps make sure to wrap your hair up at nite with a silky styled scarf so that the oils in your hair will remain there and u wont have any breakage!
