i have really long hair now, and i am getting my hair cut saturday. should i jump on the bandwagon and get a bob or just a trim? i would like something new, but i'm scared about losing my long locks.

If your hair is long enough have it cut and donate your hair to "locks of love"......they make wigs for cancer patients using donated hair.Most places wont charge you for a haircut if you donate!!!!

I think that you should just get a trim. I have long hair too and I don't want to part with it.

maybe u should get a hair cut that is up to your neck..and if that suits you maybe u can go shorter to a bob cut...just try it out, if u directly get a bob cut u might freak out and u might not like it...so just try out what i said and that will help u decide if a bob cut is good for you or not. I had long hair, I work at a spa/salon, the girls wanted to go nuts with it - so I let them. After hours of talking myself into doing it, I realized - it's hair, my hair grows pretty well and fast, so why not give it a shot? Next thing I know 11 inches are slapping the floor and I swear it was making the loudest noise ever (I guess it was my nerves) but because it's such a drastic change - I got more compliments on my hair cut than I did when people found out I was engaged! Haha.. go for it - IT'LL GROW BACK! Plus it's SOOOO easy to take care of! haha let us know!

well it really depend what color hair you have but...

if you have straiight hair then get short layers on the top and long layers on the bottom and get sidebangs , then maybe get natural looking highlights.

but if you have curly/wavy hair get lots of long layers and sidebangs then get natural looking highlights

get it cut in a bob maybe longer at the front and shorter at the back if you dont like it you can by some clip in extensions untill it grows back
