How can I get my hair to flip outwards?

I have a layered bob and I think it is really cute when people flip the ends out. What is the easiest way to do this. My hair is naturally straight and thick. Thanks!

Use a flat iron. Those things are the greatest ever! You can use them to curl your hair under, flip it out or make it stick straight too. I first spray a section of hair with a straitening iron product (I like Regis Get it Pressed flat iron spray) then use the iron (1 inch in width) starting from the roots or as close you want to the roots and pull slowly downward toward the ends. When you get to the end slightly curve the iron outward causing the ends of your hair to curve outward too. Works really well and stays flipped out all day too.

I use good salon hair products. I have straight, fine somewhat thin hair and I use styling gel, styling mousse and root lifting spray. Then style with a round brush and blow dryer. My hair will hold any style with the right products.
