Although I didn't want it as short as it was, it was at least an inch shorter than I wanted it. Personally I didn't like it, because I have really curly hair, so I had to straighten it, and it would just curl up because it was spring and really humid...
Ladies.....If you've ever had long hair, and cut it to a short bobbed cut..? I have had what I would consider VERY long hair since I was a child (I am 24 now). When I was 14, I cut it ALL off into a short bob. I was completely shocked, and grew it back long.
My recommendation to you would be to take it in steps. If your hair is long now, cut it shorter. If you like it that way, get it cut even shorter. Make sure you aren't going to be shocked like me and regret a super short bob! good luck!

When I was little, my dad shaved my head BALD. At least I was only 1 or 2 years young at that time...
Now, I'm planning on keeping my hair long... because I look best in longer hair.
If you look better in short bobbed cut, do it.

Ladies.....If you've ever had long hair, and cut it to a short bobbed cut..? i had longish hair, to my mid-back with layers. i cut it over the summer, shoulder length. i did it because i was soooo bored with my hair. i had long, curly hair, with side bangs for like 2 years, and i wanted to do something different. now i wear my hair short and straight, with some choppy layers. i like it. people say the new style makes me look more sophisticated. lol.

I remember for the first week my neck and shoulders felt so naked and it was strange not having so much hair, but I loved it and kept it short for a long time
If you're really unsure about it, you could always get it cut a bit shorter and see if it's still something you want to do.
That way if you decide it's a terrible idea, then you're not as much at a loss

I do like it now but I look at my daughter's hair and it's very long and she told me to grow it out. I'm going to do that. I don't think I'll ever cut it shorter than a bob again.
