Hair colour advice?

at the moment I have dark chocolate brown hair %26amp; my haircut is the latest asymetric bob. I really want to put a flash of pure blonde under the one side of my hair at the front, but not quite sure what the easiest tecnique is %26amp; what kind of peroxide to get. To be honest I dont really wanna go 2 a salon %26amp; spend 鎷?0 on a lil bit of colour!

Hair colour advice?

you could find like a college where they practice doing hair they will do it much cheaper than in the salon

From years of experience I wouldn't ever use blonde peroxide yourself. I've used it twice - first time it went green, the next time it went orange. If you want it that badly then it's worth saving for hun.

go to a salon whether you like it or not because if you have one slipup then that'll cost more to repair for your slipup than your salon appointment. have a good day! =]]

thanks for the 2 points.

Hair colour advice?

you could try a pre-lightener, I did try a normal blonde colour but it went bright orange - try a salon services shop that sells to the public

Hair colour advice?

just ask someone at the store, and in my opinion i think everyone would be happier with a purple mustash.

Hair colour advice?

If you want it done properly you should really go to a haridressers or it could go ginger/green/red etc and wrong and messy!

Good Luck Lol

Hair colour advice?

get some halloween spray and wash out color and see if you like the effect first. Frankly even if you got it done once the stylist would show and tell you how and what products to use whhich is well worth it in my book. Thinking of 100 at a really good place.

look into the phone book for you local cosmo school it would cost about the same as doing it your self %26amp; safer. You would need to process under heat to get the blonde to lift.

Hair colour advice?

Use a high lift developer (peroxide) should be 30 or 40 volume, mix it with bleach, a blue based bleach would probably work the best, and section out or actually its easier if you would have one of your friends or someone section it out for you. Get some aluminum foil and put that section of hair in there when you have the bleach on it. With your hair being darker brown you will need to use a hair dryer to lighten it up enough. Just a word of warning, don't panic if when you are waiting for your hair to turn blonde, you will see it go through different levels of color, it will probably be a reddish orange then orange then yellowish orange then yellowish then finally blonde. You have to let it go through these colors and not just rinse it off. Oh, and don't take a section of hair that is thicker than about a quarter of an inch thick or you won't get it evenly distributed on there and it will be all marbly looking. Feel free to email me if you want to know more

Using peroxide could result in your hair going a colour you really dont want it to...like orange or green. I would recommend buying Loreal highlighting kit, there should be one for blonde highlights on chocolate brown hair. Just use the blonde out of that. Its much more safer than peroxide, and the product itself is brilliant.

you CAN'T just use peroxide on it's own- peroxide is mixed with either colour or bleach before being applied to the hair! peroxide is "developer" to us in the business which literally helps the colour or bleach to "develop" it is a carrier which opens up the hairshafts to allow the colour or bleach to travel in and "develop" anyway what you will need to use is a white powder bleach mixed with 40vol developer. try Goldwell as in my opinion Goldwell is the best professional range. you can purchase it from online or beauty supply houses.

Hair colour advice?

if you went to a training college they could it and it would be cheaper than doing it yourself
