Bored with my hair what can i do with it?

last spring i cut my hair into a bob it was cute but now a year later it has no style it just hangs there, i would cut it but i'm the maid of honor at my cousins wedding next winter and she wants my hair to be long nut i'm so bored of it, my hair is black, about shoulder length idk what to do with it all i do is straighten wear headbands ponytails, i want to style it differently but idk how what can i do i tried curling it but i look like a poodle, i have an oval face, what would look ok and easy for me to do before class

layers are always nice and layers in a fringe are nice. but dont have a proper fringe still have it grown out if it is abd put layery bits in it

How about scene hair cut or emo hair cut.... then color it red or something wild.

Well, you could highlight it. Or!!!! OOH!!! When your hair is wet, flip your head upside down and work moose (sp?) into it and then flip your hari back up then crunch it so its like curly, but a manageable kind of curly. I do that sometimes and it looks pretty good.
