I am in need of a good haircut and would like something trendy yet suitable for my coarse, curly, frizzy hair and heart shaped face (its down to my shoulders right now and a mess :-/). Usually when I get it cut I would get these bobs that would work for my curls, but straightening wouldn't look right unless it had grown out in length a little. I am also seriously considering getting my dark brown (coffee color I guess) hair highlighted for the first time. Any ideas?

i think your hair is long enough. you should get side swept bangs and layers. and like her darker and lighter highlights it'll be totally cute!!

it's trendy and looks good straight or curly. however, I might suggest not getting highlights because dark hair looks so pretty solid. i hope this works for you!

PS. Use a styling cream to make your hair less coarse.

well, ask your sylist to flat iron your hair first before she cuts it...but hopefully she'll remember that it will shrink up when it's curly.

but it really depends on how u style your hair. if your wear it more straight then curly, get her to cut it when it's straight.

Caramel highlights would be beautiful!! Also product, product again product is what you need to tame your frizz/curl!!! A heart shaped face should have more volume and length at the bottom to elong it. So shoulder length a little above maybe would fill in around the chin area. Layers can work only if alot of bulk is left at the bottom. Good luck!!!!

I think that you should go to the salon and let them blow it in, like in a u shape and side bangs and color the coffee color.
