Styling my Bob Haircut for a Formal?

My hair is cut in sort of a bob, with lots of layers and some bangs.

I'm going to a formal dinner/dance for my sorority next week, and I have no idea how to style my hair so it looks dressy. On a normal day I wear it so that it looks pretty sleek, so I'm going to have to do something more than just straighten it with an iron so that it'll look dressy enough.

Clip it on top with a little bit of a poof. Not to tall just enough to give it a diffrent look. I use bobby pins. Hope this helps.
