If you dont know what you want then cancel appointment until you have at least some idea for the hairdreser to work on otherwise you will come out with something you really are not comfortable with. Take into consideration your life style and budget for maintanance. Some styles are require regular maintanance and therefore work out expensive. If you swim alot that also could be a thinking point. Do you have time in the morning to style it or do you want something that just rough up and go.

Explain exactly what you want to the hairdresser and discuss your face shape/ hair texture with him/her and you won't go far wrong.

They are pretty good at giving a flattering cut to your particular face shape. They will tell you what will suit you or adapt the style for you.

try having a normal bob and to make it look like a con-cave bob have the back dyed a darker colour that way it,s alot easy to grow out the posh look looks great but hard to grow out

Use a flat iron. Those things are the greatest ever! You can use them to curl your hair under, flip it out or make it stick straight too. I first spray a section of hair with a straitening iron product (I like Regis Get it Pressed flat iron spray) then use the iron (1 inch in width) starting from the roots or as close you want to the roots and pull slowly downward toward the ends. When you get to the end slightly curve the iron outward causing the ends of your hair to curve outward too. Works really well and stays flipped out all day too.

It depends how thick your hair is, it would suit your face shape but bobs seem to suit finer hair, also if you think a bob is less fuss I would warn you it probably needs more straightening and looking after than long hair because you can't tie it back if you are having a bad hair day, good luck in choosing a cut that will suit you, xx

Ive had every bob known to man over the years and always end up back to long hair. If your face is roundish I would think a bob would be fine so long as the ends at the front/sides are below your jawline, that is slimming. If the ends are cut above the jawline it makes your face look rounder. Also a straight across shortish fringe is BAD for round faces. so, a one length or slightly layered bob with the front edges below your jawline would be really nice. However, the thing about a bob is that although it isnt short, it also isn't long enough to put back into a pony if its annoying you, so if your hair around your face while you are working annoys you, either don't get a bob, or else get a hairband to keep it back from your face. Ive always loved the bob that is cut up into the nape of the neck at the back and graduates down to the front, since I had it first done in 1979! Its quicker to dry than a straight around bob, and looks cuter. There is also no need for straighteners with a bob, so long as you have a good quality round brush, preferably a bristle one, of a decent size, that should be enough with your dryer, to give you a sleek smooth finish. Good luck whatever you choose to do!

If you have a roundish face....the bob won't look good. It will make your whole face look circular....you don't want that. Keep your hair long. Maybe put in some layers and face frame it. My face is round too, and i find that a sweeping bang works well to balance out your face.

Try using a different shampoo and conditioner, sometimes the chemicals in certain shampoo make your hair look more curly/wavy/frizzy, experiment. Good luck!

Ugh!!!! I totally know what you mean, when my hair was in a bob, I have very very thick hair btw..It also did that. I used a round brush to either flip it in (or out) while blowdrying it. That helps, and so does a curling iron when all you're all dry. Try not to tuck it behind your ears, no matter how tempting because that (at least for me) causes the one-side-does-this-the-other-does something else thing.

I know how you feel I have the same problem...I got so annoyed with my short bob that I got expensive hair extensions put in. Long hair is actually easier to style than short. My suggestion would be that your hair is too wavy to have a bob, so you should probably grow it out in a long pretty, wavy style that will work with your hair, it will be a lot easier to do and more natural looking. In the meantime if you're going out for a special night, pop in to the hairdresser's to get a wash, blow out, and have them straighten it. It should only cost about 50 bucks, and in some hair salons its complementary. Hairdressers somehow always manage to get your hair pin-straight, I wish I knew their secrets.

Try on a wig. Go to the place that normally cuts your hair and ask the girl if you can try on a hair piece and/or wig in the style that you want. If you don't like it then don't do it. Once you cut your hair it will be a while before it grows back. That would be the easiest thing to do. It should not cost you anything.
